Product information
  • Article number: LIPPOL02

Lippia polystachya is also called Argentine mint verbena (family of the Verbenaceae).
It is a deciduous shrub (if below 4 degrees). The leaves are oblong/lanceolate up to 10 cm in length and fresh green in colour.
This shrub from South America is a wonderfully fresh-scented plant.

The leaf constantly gives off an aromatic scent without having to bruise the leaf. If you touch the leaf, this smell is even stronger.
The flowers bloom from June to September and are white in colour, about cm in size and clustered on the stems.
Highly recommended and wonderful to make tea from the fresh leaf!
The taste is sweet with an aroma of grapefruit.
Winter hardiness zone 8b (-8ºC).
