Thymus praecox Coccineus is a low creeping evergreen ground cover that has aromatic green leaves that can be used in Mediterranean cuisine.
Creep glue grows very close and gives weeds no chance anymore. In addition, the Thymus praecox Coccineus flowers very exuberant with small dark pink flowers in the months of June to August.

The plant prefers to be in a sunny location and can be combined very well with, for example, Sempervivum varieties. Even in a rock garden, the creeping glue really comes into its own.
The Thymus praecox Coccineus performs on any type of soil and makes no further demands, in the winter it prefers not too wet, thyme is quite drought tolerant. Give some cow manure grain in the spring around April. The creeping glue is also hardy.
