Sedum spurium Fuldaglut is a herbaceous herb also known under the name Pink scrub. This plant is, like the Sempervivum, also a family of the Crassulaceae.
This low ground cover is between 10/15 cm high and is also used on "green or eco roofs". This perennial plant deserves a place in your garden where nothing stands.
Weeds also have no chance due to the dense growth method.
Sedum spurium Fuldaglut is good against drought, but also grows well in moderately moist places.
Sedum likes to be in a sunny spot, but can also be planted in a semi-shade on a spot. This evergreen plant also attracts many butterflies during the flowering season.
The very rich flowering of the plant runs from July to September. The flowers are pink in color and bloom in a dense flower carpet on top of the red leaf.
The young leaves start gray to green / red but discolored rather quickly red purple / red.
This completely contrasts nicely with other plants in your garden.
For planting, you can suffice with 8-10 plants per square meter.
Winter hardiness zone 5b (-25ºC).
