Pittosporum tobira Variegata is an evergreen plant and is a native plant in China and Japan.
The plant gets 4 to 5 cm long green-white colored leaves. Grows in a nicely formed shrub and grows up to 250 cm high after many years.
May be pruned in late autumn. Can also be kept as a container plant, tolerates pruning well.
Protect the tub in the winter against freezing.
It blooms from May to July and is then full of creme-colored flowers that turn to white.

These flowers smell delicious and give off an intense sweet scent! Red seeds appear in the autumn.
This Pittosporum tobira Variegata is fairly hardy and also suitable for keeping as a tub plant.
He can hibernate in a sheltered place and does not necessarily have to go inside, only if severe frost is predicted than to provide some protection.
Adhesive seed does not have to have excessively much water in the summer (soil slightly damp) and give a small amount of manure once a month is sufficient.
In the event of extremely hot weather, the plant may be sprayed on the leaf. The Pittosporum tobira Variegata can be planted in the ground, but remember that protection should be applied with more than moderate frost.
