Argyrocytisus battandieri is a shrub originating from the Atlas Mountains that has adapted perfectly to wind and cold.

This nitrogen fixing plant grows on the most poor soil. This is because rhizobium bacteria convert nitrates and nitrogen in the air into useful food for the plant.
On the most poor soils the Argyrocytisus battandieri grows well.
