Product description

Actinidia arguta Issai is also known under the name kiwiberry or Siberian kiwi. This mini kiwi is ambiguous and is therefore self-pollinating.
This kiwi berry already bears fruit from its second year and grows less violently than other Actinidia arguta species, so it is also suitable for the smaller gardens.
But certainly also suitable for growing a pergola, for example.

Of the Actinidia arguta are several species that are almost all hardy. The white / yellow blossom eventually makes way for the young kiwi fruits that grow to about 2-3 cm and are eaten with peel. The skin is very thin.

The fruits are green in color and have no hairs like the ordinary kiwi.
The taste is very good and it is highly recommended! They taste like ordinary kiwi, but then a bit sweeter. The fruits are not very noticeable between the green leaves and they hang in clusters on the branches.
A sunny place warm place will certainly benefit the fruit setting. These are ripe in August and can then be picked until well into late summer.
Kiwis are full of vitamin C and except that they are very healthy, the plant gives a tropical look to every garden.
Winter hardiness zone 5b (-26ºC)
