Murraya paniculata or also called Orange jasmine is a fragrant shrub and originates from South East Asia.
This tub plant can grow up to 2 meters high without pruning. Topiary is no problem to keep this shrub at the desired height. The Orange jasmine can be used as a houseplant and outside in the spring and summer. Then she likes to be in a sheltered warm place.

The flowers of the Murraya paniculata have a very strong scent and a pleasant fragrance. The flowers are white in color and up to 2 cm in size. In our climate, the plant flowers alternately in the summer months. After flowering, the plant will immediately produce new buds and will flower again within a few weeks. At first, faded flowers will have green berries that turn bright red.

The Murraya paniculata is a real tropical exotic and not hardy. Ideally overwinters at a temperature above + 8ºC and do not keep the soil too wet if the plant overwinters cool. It can also be kept as a houseplant. Then take the plant inside in September and outside again in May.
From spring onwards normal watering and fertilization monthly.
If the plant grows too large, it can be pruned without any problems, you do this in the autumn or early spring.
