Jacobinia Carnea also known as Justicia Carnea is a half-schrub and a tropical plant.
This can be used as a tub plant on the terrace but also as a room plant inside your home.
The Jacobinia carnea is a very powerful bloom and flourish from late May to November. The flowers are beautiful and grow straight in 20 cm cone. The calyx consists of dark purple leaves and the flower crowns have pink flower bulbs.

The leaf is large to 25 cm long and 12 cm wide, ribbed and purple / green in color and leafy in winter.
The stems of the plant are square and the plant can be 100 to 125 cm high.
The potting soil may be kept moist during the summer and therefore give the plant a rich fertilizer.  
In winter no fertilizer and the plant keep a little drier.
Give the Jacobinia a place with a lot of light, but not in the direct afternoon sun, half shadow is good for this plant.
Winter hardness zone 11 (+ 7ºC).
