Malus domestica Polpa Rossa is a very special species of apple.
The blossom appears in April and is mainly white / pink in color. After this, the first fruits will soon appear on the branches. These are ripe in August / September. The special thing about these fruits is the red colour of the pulp.
The fruits are juicy, fresh, sweet and crunchy and a very good thirst-quencher, fruit colors nicely red. The leaf of the tree is green in color and the tree loses its leaves in autumn.
The location is allowed in full sun (more sugars in the fruits, so sweeter fruits and more fruits), but also half shade is fine. Prune in March if necessary.
