Miscanthus sinensis Small Silberspinne is an ornamental grass species that can be used as a solitary in your garden. 
This ornamental grass is about 125/150 cm high and grows very compact. The elegant growth method of Miscanthus is a true jewel for your garden.
A sunny or a place where this fixed plant is half shaded is no problem. The soil type is not important as long as it is permeable.

The green leaves hangs over and is quite narrow. From August to October the plant flowers with feather-like flowers that are silver / white in color.
In the autumn the leaves of this beautiful cane turn to golden yellow.
In the winter when the golden-yellow leaves are frozen and filled with frost creates a nice picture in your garden.

In the spring, in the month of March, cut the pol back to about 10/15 cm. From April, the Miscanthus sinensis Kleine Silberspinne will end with fresh green leaves.
For planting, you can suffice with 3-4 plants per square meter.
