Ricinus communis also called Miracle tree is a special exotic from Africa.
The miracle tree initially blooms with small white flowers in summer. After this, mid-July to September bright red star-shaped seed pods emerge.
The leaves of the Ricinus communis are quite large and star-shaped, colored green purple.
The stems have a red-purple color.
The special plant is a real eye-catcher in your border. The plant has 1 year and is propagated by sowing.
Please note because the seeds are very poisonous and certainly not suitable for planting in a garden where small children play.
A place in the sun or partial shade is fine and as a planting distance you can keep 1 to 3 plants per square meter. The plant can reach a height of 150 to 200 cm and will settle for any good soil.
