Bananen-bananas Musa Hong pi - Red banana

Musa Hong pi comes from Asia and grows quickly to a height of 2 meters. Grows in a clump and gets quite a few side shoots.
Becomes a beautiful full banana bush as it gets older.
The leaves are fresh green and the trunk purple-red to dark red.

This banana variety blooms every year and produces small, tasty red bananas. After the banana has finished flowering, the plant dies. However, new shoots have already sprouted along the trunk of the mother plant.
This Musa Hong pi is very easy to keep indoors as a container plant, partly because of its limited height and width, it is an easy container plant.

This is a beautiful tropical banana that can be planted in the garden in the summer and is not a problem in a sunny place.
Hibernate indoors, so stick out of the ground and keep in a tub. In winter, be very careful with water if it is kept cool. When shipping the bananas in a package, we may cut back the banana leaf. These grow back very quickly.
