Iris pseudacorus is also known under the name Japanese iris, Sword lily, Japanese water iris and Iris kaempferi.
This perennial likes to have a slightly damp to humid place and can be kept in the ground or in the pot.

Is also widely used as a bank plant in ponds. But the Iris does very well in the ordinary soil as well.
Is allowed in full sun but can also be in a place where it is half shadow.
The leaf is up to about 40 cm high and is fresh green, the total height of the plant is maximum 60/80 cm including flowers.
The beautiful yellow flowers appear in June and the flowering continues until the end of July.
For planting, you have enough to 7-9 plants per m².
