Indocalamus latifolius is ideal for dense planting used in hedges and the like. Can be planted as solitary, in a tub or in a group.
The Indocalamus latifolius growth rises straight and becomes up to 300 cm high.
This species is very nice to combine with fine-leaved bamboos, creating a beautiful contrast.

The Indocalamus tessellatus is characterized by its dark green and shiny very large leaves.
The leaves can be up to 30-40 cm long and 8 cm wide. It grows densely and becomes higher than the Indocalamus tesselatus.
Of the bamboos that thrive in our climate, the Indocalamus latifolius, together with the Indocalamus tessellatus, has the largest leaf.
The stem is matte green in color and usually branches quite quickly above the ground. This bamboo also grows moderately and requires a root limiter.
