Bamboe-bamboo Fargesia jiuzhaigou 1

The Fargesia jiuzhaigou 1 is suitable for the cockpit and, of course, the full ground, only as a solitary is this bamboo the best.
The bamboo pol is not much larger than 1 meter in diameter and is therefore an ideal bamboo for the somewhat smaller garden.
The height remains below 300 cm and has small elegant leaves that are fresh green in color.

This bamboo plant has the smallest leaf of the Fargesia species. The stems are in principle green and then yellow / orange in color but may turn red if it is in a sunny spot.
In the winter, the Fargesia jiuzhaigou 1 also stays green.
After a couple of years it is a nice full compact bamboo forest with overhanging stems. The stems eventually become about 1 cm thick. Also, this bamboo does not proliferate and no root limiter is needed.
Winter hardiness zone 5b (-26ºC).
