Erysimum Bowles Mauve also called Wallflower and belongs to the Crucifix family. This perennial and wonderfully long bloomer is a beautiful plant for your border, used as a group and as a planting plant or as a solitary. Also widely used in a rock garden. The fine misted leaf is green/grey/blue in colour.

This border plant grows to a maximum height of 50/60 cm and does not give weeds a chance in your garden due to its dense habit.
From the end of May to October, the Erysimum Bowles Mauve blooms with lilac/purple flowers. This plant is best placed in a sunny position. Butterflies love these flowers.

In winter, the plant is also evergreen. You can prune any frost damage from the plant in early spring in March. Prune the plant back considerably, it will sprout again quickly and will thus remain nicely full and compact.
At the end of March/beginning of April, the Muurbloem sprouts again with green/grey leaves. In the case of section cladding, 7-9 plants per m² will suffice. In March you can sprinkle some dried cow manure pellets as basic fertilizer.
