Aloe vera is mostly from the Mediterranean area and North Africa and can grow to 70/80 cm high. The Aloe vera has medicinal properties and the leaf is widely used for sunburn and skin remedies for all kinds of malnutrition.

Also, the Aloe vera plant can be eaten and even soda is made from this versatile plant.
The plant has stiff and rough pointed leaves. The blade is torn and not sharp. The leaf has a gray / green color.

During the summer the plant blooms with yellow to orange / red dull elongated flowers.
The place may be a dry place, the aloe is fairly dry tolerant and an easy cultivation plant.
The Aloe vera is not hardy and it is best to keep it dry and cool, or kept in a room plant in winter.
Do you keep the plant as a beech plant than the aloe in spring again outside on your terrace.
